Returns and refunds
Dispensed medicines cannot be restocked or resold, so an accepted return is destroyed rather than returned to stock. That is why returns are limited to cases where something was wrong with what arrived.
You can return an order if
- You were sent something other than what was dispensed to you.
- The medicine arrived damaged.
- The medicine was past its expiry date.
- The order never reached you.
- There is something wrong with the medicine itself.
Raise it within 48 hours of delivery. A report that your order never arrived has no time limit.
What cannot be returned
- Change of mind, once the medicine has been dispensed.
- Cold-chain medicines such as insulin and vaccines — once the box has left the shop the temperature chain cannot be shown to be unbroken. Raise a quality complaint instead and it will be handled as a refund.
Refunds
An approved return is refunded to the original payment method. Where the medicine comes back, the refund follows its recorded destruction.
